CURTIN, WV – Two 6’ bandmills with 6’ Pony mill downstream with LEWIS / CORLEY scanning systems, optimized edger and all support equipment. A major part of this facility burned down in April 2015 and was restored, and back in operation 3 months later. Production capacity is 26 million bd ft annually on two shift basis. New Nicholson R2 ring debarker installed and operational since September 2016. 3 new Cleereman carriages installed in 2015 and 2017. This install completed our renovation project on the front end of this mill from debarker to all three headrig carriages, drives, filing room, etc. since the fire. This sawmill also has approx. 450M’ of kiln drying capacity with surfacing two side capabilities.
