Located 100% in the heart of Appalachia, Hamer’s timber procurement comes from one of the most thriving hardwood forests in the world. Hamer owns and sustainably manages timberland, 5 hardwood sawmills, and 3 kiln drying locations throughout West Virginia and Kentucky. Our West Virginia operations are located in Curtin, Madison, Amma, Marlinton, and Elkins. The Kentucky operation is located in Prestonsburg. Our corporate office is located in Kenova, WV. With an annual production capacity of 50 million board feet and a dry kiln capacity of over 20 million board feet annually, Hamer can oversee and provide the finest Appalachian Hardwoods for our customers.
